Paver Maintenance & Repair
We often meet with new clients who have experienced problems with brick pavers. Their projects failed after a short time because their pavers were not properly installed. If not laid correctly and to code, even the highest quality materials can fail. There are many different types of repairs which we offer, from cosmetic fixes and power washing all the way to complete overhauls. In some cases we can utilize your existing material to save cost and give your patio a new look.
• Patio should be resealed every 3-7 years depending on exposure to sun, amount of traffic on pavers, if there is any water pooling, and weather exposure.
• Sealing prevents: color fading, surface corrosion, and joints from washing out.
• Rolled sealer vs. spraying in order to get the most efficient and long lasting coverage.
• Sealing helps to deter insects and weeds from compromising sand joints.
• Polymeric sand is available as an alternative to sealing.
• After sealing pavers several times, they may need to be chemically stripped before being resealed.
